Bag The Boss

Bag the Boss was a digital and experiential challenge where HCPs had to determine the true disease hiding behind a sea of suspects.

A patient was dying and they were medical detectives (MDs) who had to solve the case and save the patient. They had to solve four puzzles each eliminating a few suspects, eventually narrowing it down to BPDCN.

Stemline Therapeutics

Stemline came to us with a problem: They had a therapy that worked very well, but it was for a disease that had been reclassified and renamed so many times doctors didn’t know what it was or how to treat it.

BPDCN (Blastic Plasmacytoid Dendritic Cell Neoplasm) is a very rare blood cancer that presents with skin lesions. This often caused patients to seek treatment with a dermatologist. Unfortunately, this delays diagnosis and treatment and causes poor patient outcomes.

We needed to raise awareness of BPDCN, doctor’s understanding of it, and also how to diagnose it. As a rare blood cancer the American Society of Hematology conference (ASH) was the place to start.
